NHTSA · refreshed 5 days agoON CERTAIN MOTORCYCLES AND SCOOTERS, THE REAR BRAKE SHOE MATERIAL COULD SEPARATE DUE TO IMPROPER ADHESIVE CURING.
Remedy: DEALERS WILL REPLACE THE REAR BRAKE SHOES. THE RECALL BEGAN ON OCTOBER 8, 2004. OWNERS SHOULD CONTACT YAMAHA AT 1-800-889-2624.
